so it is Totally Pages time again. It is June 7th or 8th (you pick) from 6:30-8:30pm. It will be super fun…i am making churro cupcakes…(they are amazing…just ask the boy named paul.) oh! and i also got my fashionista class finished…if you can sew a strait line then you can make this…it is great for beginners i promise! you get to pick your fabric, what a great way to spruce up a kid’s bedroom or use a family letter and match your family room…so fun. The ruffle and monogram are included in class. so come…not this tuesday but next tuesday.

hello crazy may! i don’t even have a kid in school and feel like it has been crazy. i got to go to quilt market this past week….so much fun. it was great to be able to tour 10 stores and see what everyone is doing up there. i also got to see my aunt rosemary and cousin lindsey and her cute kids. loved it. this week i get to go to creative escape preview day and have a practice teach. which is great so i get to work out all the bugs before the awesome event. i heard there are still a few spots left…you should sign up. http://www.creativeescapeaz.com.

so i promised my totally page girls that i would put up a couple of recipes of the food that i brought in….here they are as promised!

Peanut Butter Cookies

5 1/4 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter

3/4 cup shortening

1 3/4 cups sugar

1 3/4 cups brown sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup peanut butter

24 mini peanut butter cups

grease cookie sheets and set aside. In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

in large mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening,sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. stir in peanut butter.

add flour mixture and stir until well blended.

drop dough onto the cookie sheets and press with fork for a criss cross.

bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes…don’t over cook!

take cookies out while still warm and press the mini peanut butter cups in. refrigerate

Zucchini Bread

3 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

3 tsp cinnamon

3 eggs

1 cup of oil

2 cups sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 coups zucchini, grated

1 cup walnuts chopped

grease 2 small 7×3″ loaf pans and set aside. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Set aside

In separate mixing bowl, beat eggs until light and foamy. Add oil, sugar, vanilla, and zucchini, mix well.

Add flour mixture just until moist. (overmixing causes tunnels and a course texture) Fold in nuts

Pour into pans about 2/3 full. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-40 min.

i found the most amazing entertainment center thing for my family room…soooooo….i am selling this buffet. it is super cute, all wood the whole works…but as you see doesn’t quite fill up my humungus hole space. it was really awesome because you can have the iron doors shut and still work the tv box and dvd player. just saw super similar stuff for $1200 at potato barn…here is the link…let me know if you are interested.
